The purpose of this amendment is to answer a submitted question regarding the length of the lineset required for the units. The amendment states that approximately 30 feet of lineset per unit will be needed. The amendment also addresses several other questions related to the scope of work, including the replacement of existing ductwork, the use of alumaguard flexible weatherproofing jacket, the use of manual versus automated controls, the roof warranty status, the number of escorts provided, the approved RTU manufacturer, the use of Megapress fittings for natural gas, and the handling of the condensate drain.
The related state and local contract opportunity involves the procurement of mini splits and condensers by the TDCJ for Walker County, Texas. The procurement is seeking bids to establish a purchase order for these products.
