About this file
This document is an addendum to an Invitation for Bid (IFB) issued by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) for right-of-way mowing services at the White Oak Creek Wildlife Management Area (WMA) located approximately 2.5 miles north of Naples, Texas. The addendum provides clarifications in response to questions received from potential bidders regarding the mowing requirements, such as debris removal, creek crossings, and trimming of low-lying tree limbs. It also includes a boundary map of the WMA as an attachment. The IFB requires bidders to attend a mandatory pre-bid site visit to become familiar with the site conditions and equipment needed to perform the required services. The bid is due on August 22, 2024, by 2:00 PM CT.
The addendum indicates that the contractor may use any methods deemed necessary to complete the scope of work, as long as they adhere to the equipment and contractor requirements specified in the IFB. The contract will be a blanket contract, but no additional details regarding pricing terms, set-asides, incumbents, funding sources, or contract term are provided in the addendum.
