About this file
This document is an Invitation for Bids (IFB) issued by the San Jacinto Community College District (SJCCD) for the procurement of one (1) new or refurbished compact benchtop chromatography system. The system must be built no earlier than 2017 and meet detailed technical specifications including flow rate, column capacity, pressure, and other capabilities. The IFB provides a proposed solicitation schedule with key dates, including the bid submission deadline of August 12, 2024 and an anticipated award approval on August 13, 2024. The College has a budget of $200,000 for this purchase and requires expedited delivery by August 29, 2024, with installation and training to be completed after that date.
The IFB outlines bid response requirements, including pricing details, specification sheets, manuals, maintenance information, Texas Risk and Authorization Management Program (TX-RAMP) certification, business questionnaire, references, and exceptions to terms and conditions. An optional annual preventative maintenance agreement is also requested. The College does not provide a preference for historically underutilized or small businesses, but any subcontractors utilized must be reported for diversity tracking purposes.
