Questions and Answers

Question # 1: At the location is there a dock or forklift to unload the pallets for the items?

Answer: Yes, Sea Center Texas has a forklift on-site that can be used for unloading pallets.

Question # 2: I have a clarification request for the Sea Center UV Bid (802-24-5174), concerning section number 3 on pages 3 and 4. Do you by chance know the UV transmittance (UVT %) of the water that is going to be treated by these UV’s or the type of system they are going through (recirculating, intake, etc.)? This is critical to know so we can achieve the dose rate required. If not know, we can us a assumption of 85% UVT for recirculating systems and 90% for intake.

Answer:

Answer: Sea Center will utilize the UV sterilizers on recirculating systems. Use the 85% UVT.
