About this file

This document is an Invitation for Bid (IFB) issued by the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts Statewide Procurement Division for cargo containers and associated modifications. The IFB describes the specifications for 20-foot and 40-foot cargo containers, including options for side doors, spray foam insulation, vents, mini-split HVAC units, and electrical packages. The containers must meet all federal and state safety, health, lighting, and noise regulations. Delivery must be within the timeframe specified, and the containers are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty. The IFB references specific approved manufacturers or CPA-approved equals. A major customer for these items is the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT).

The IFB does not provide pricing terms, set-asides, or incumbent information. It also does not specify funding requirements, sources, or amounts. The document focuses on the technical specifications and delivery requirements for the cargo containers.
