Due Date/Deadline: ____June 20, 2024_______________________________________

Purchaser: ___David Rivera, CTCD, CTCM____________________________________

Except as provided herein, all terms and conditions of the document referenced herein, remain unchanged.

The following are specifications to this solicitation. This Addendum should be attached to and shall form a part of the referenced solicitation document and any resulting awarded contract(s) and may be considered in your bid.

PURPOSE OF ADDENDUM: QUESTION AND ANSWERS

Question: In 4.1.9.4, you reference remote scan. Could you elaborate more on this need?

Answer: It allows you to set the desired scan size and quality and how/what format you want it set in. It also has access to scan files stored in a mailbox and/or Google Drive. We have found this useful especially in situations where we needed to change desktop computers due to unforeseen reasons and were able to switch to another desktop with no downtime.

Question: Based on a FOIA inquiry, your current printer has Fiery JobMaster. According to the bid specifications, TSD does not require JobMaster. It is only states the need for Fiery Impose. Is this an error or do you not need JobMaster anymore?

Answer: Please follow the requirements as outlined on the IFB.

Question: In 4.1.10.3 and 4.1.11.6, TSD states the need to print on half letter (5.5x8.5) to 13x19. However in 4.1.11.5, TSD specifies the need for paper sizes: 330 x 487.7 mm(13 x 19.2 In.) , 330 x 862 mm (13 x 33.9 In.)

(max. duplex) 330.2 x 1300 mm (13 x 51.2 (max. simplex). Can TSD clarify this need? Do you need Long Sheet capability? (longer than 13.2 In.)?

Answer: Our current printer can print on paper/media ranging from 5.5 to 8.5 to 13 by 19 inches – this is the minimum to max paper setup that we believe may be standard on all digital printing presses. We have used the smallest size to print on pre-made cards on several occasions but do we need or require the smallest size option on the next unit – the answer is no, but if it's included then that would be fine. Our standard paper orders sizes are: letter (8.5 x 11), tabloid (11 x 17), Oversized Tabloids (12 by 18), and Extra-size Tabloid (13 x 19). Our current printer Press is capable at running sheets longer than 19 inches or long sheets if needed.

Question: In 4.1.15.6, TSD requests the ability to scan off the glass 12x18. Neither Konica Minolta nor Canon has this capability. The maximum size that Konica Minolta will do is 11.7 x 17. Canon is 12 x17. Can TSD clarify their need?

Answer: TSD would like to have “up to” 12 by 18 if available.

Question: In 4.1.10.3, TSD mentions that you currently print up to 350gsm. In 4.1.11.3 and 4.1.11.4, TSD mentioned that the system needs to print 62 to 360gsm. Please clarify your requirements for printing?

Answer: TSD is requesting the gsm range specified listed on IFB

Question: In 4.1.9.6, TSD discusses a “desired” set up for web submission. Is this a need where TSD wants this solution included in the lease pricing or do you? Or is it something that we provide a line item cost as an optional inclusion? In either case, does TSD prefer an on-premise solution or a cloud version?

Answer: A cloud based desired setup for web submission is our request – if that service is offered then we would request it be part of the bid.

Question: In 4.1.2, TSD requests a capability to fax. Is TSD presently using your Konica Minolta to fax? Most Production devices are not used for faxing so we want to be sure?

Answer: Please follow the requirements as outlined on the IFB.

Question: Our offering includes air assist roller feed in the multi drawers. Will this satisfy the requirement?

Answer: TSD is ok with the air-assist roller feed in the high-capacity drawers although we would imagine there are updates to it.

Question: In 4.1.10.5, TSD mentions the folding module need. Does the current output require TSD to do z-fold or tri-fold on the letter size or tabloid size paper? If not, our standard booklet finisher will accomplish typical folding?

Answer: TSD does not need that, we have offline equipment capable of doing a z-fold or tri-fold.
