About this file
This document is an Invitation for Bids (IFB) issued by the San Jacinto Community College District (SJCCD) for welding consumables and supplies. SJCCD is soliciting sealed bids from qualified firms to provide these products on an as-needed basis. The College's estimated annual expenditure for welding supplies and consumables is $100,000, though this is not guaranteed. The IFB lists 21 specific products required, including welding tips, electrodes, wires, and other accessories. Bids must be submitted through the IonWave system by June 10, 2024, and the contract term will be one year with four one-year renewal options.
The IFB outlines specific requirements, including a three-business day delivery timeframe after receipt of a purchase order and the ability to adjust pricing annually based on the Producer Price Index. SJCCD does not give preference to historically underutilized or small businesses, but contractors utilizing subcontractors will be required to report the amounts paid and the subcontractors' diversity classifications. Bidders may submit exceptions to the terms and conditions, which will be reviewed by the College.
