About this file
This document is an Errata (version 1) for the Allegheny National Forest Campground Prospectus, originally posted on July 28, 2025, and updated on October 15, 2025. The errata contains four key changes to the original prospectus: 1) A modification to the sewage treatment description for Willow Bay, specifically noting that the trailer dump station is not connected to the sewage system, 2) An update to the camping unit capacity policy, changing from one to two vehicles allowed per camping unit, 3) Comprehensive updates to Tables 5-10 addressing electric options, service providers, propane and fuel options, water systems, liquid and solid waste disposal, and garbage requirements for multiple recreation sites within the Allegheny National Forest, and 4) A note about corresponding updates to Appendix 20 of the prospectus reflecting the changes in the aforementioned tables.
The document provides detailed information about infrastructure and service capabilities across various campgrounds and recreation areas, including Buckaloons, Dewdrop, Elijah Run, Farnsworth, Handsome Lake, Hearts Content, Hooks Brook, Hopewell, Kelly Pines, Kiasutha, Loleta, Minister Creek, Morrison, Pine Grove, Red Bridge, Roper Hollow, Tracy Ridge, Webbs Ferry, and Willow Bay. These sites vary in their utilities and amenities, with differences in electric service, telephone connectivity, propane availability, water systems, sewage treatment, and garbage management. The errata suggests these updates are intended to provide more accurate and current information for potential concessionaires or operators of these recreation areas.
