About this file

This is a bid request document issued by the Michigan Department of Technology, Management & Budget Printing Services for the production of septage waste hauler decals in two versions. The project requires the production of 450 sets of 2 decals for the RF (Rapid Flush) version and 200 sets of 2 decals for the LA (Louisiana/Local Authority) version, with each set consisting of left and right side truck decals. The RF version features black lettering on PMS 021 orange background with sequential numbering from 0001-0450, while the LA version displays white lettering on PMS 355 green background with sequential numbering from 0001-0200. Both versions require year updates to 2027 and 2032. The finished decal size is 6 x 6.5 inches with rounded corners, die-cut design, and back slit backing for easy removal. The vendor must provide one PDF proof for approval and complete the entire job within 10 business days following proof approval. The vendor must also provide a detailed quote letter with their bid submission, as failure to do so will result in automatic disqualification.

The decals must be manufactured on Fasson 700-G vinyl or equivalent outdoor, weather-resistant material with clear coat front finish to ensure durability and adhesion to metal vehicle surfaces for a minimum period of five years. Boxes at the bottom of each decal must be positioned 1/2 inch from the bottom edge to accommodate inspector punch verification. Finished sets should be wrapped in packs of 50, ordered sequentially as specified in the example provided. The Department of Technology, Management & Budget awards contracts based on best price and value to the state, and reserves the right to reject the lowest bidder if concerns exist regarding past quality performance or inability to meet stated requirements. Only prequalified vendors will be considered for this bid.
