About this file
This is an Emergency Award Notice issued by a Virginia jurisdiction for emergency submersible sewer pump rebuild services under contract EP#00226. The project addresses catastrophic failures of submersible sewer pumps, with rebuilding selected as the solution due to significantly shorter lead times and superior cost-effectiveness compared to purchasing new equipment. Work will be executed at the direction of the Director of Public Works, with specific task assignments to be issued as needed throughout the contract term.
The award utilizes multiple contractors to provide emergency rebuild services, ensuring adequate capacity and redundancy for critical infrastructure repairs. The emergency nature of the award and the focus on rebuilding rather than replacement indicates an urgent operational need to restore sewer system functionality while managing budget constraints. Specific pricing terms, contract duration, and individual contractor award amounts are not detailed in the available documentation.
