Requirements Description Nebraska National Guard Army Engineers
BACKGROUND: The Nebraska National Guard has two engineering units that each need a complete set of surveying instruments. The components of each set are listed as separate deliverables below but will be used to make two sets of surveying instruments; one for each unit. If a vendor wishes to price the deliverables as sets, quantity: 2, they may do so but they must list out the details of all the deliverables in each set.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: The components of each separately itemized survey instrument will need to work together as two fully functioning sets; the quantities of each itemized deliverable below will be divided and assigned to each set. After the vendor delivers all items to the Nebraska National Guard’s
Warehouse, one set of equipment will be assigned, by the Nebraska National Guard, to each of the
Nebraska National Guard’s two engineering units. Quotes that contain items/components that do not work together; that are not the same or compatible brands, to form two fully functioning survey sets will be deemed technically unacceptable and not considered for award.
DELIVERY: The delivery address for ALL items is: 2950 N. Park Rd, Lincoln, NE 68524. Any shipping charges the vendor plans to bill the Nebraska National Guard for must be quoted as a separate line item charge and added to the total requirement price.
CONFIGURATION: Every controller must be digitally programmed to the specific instruments it’s being used with to make up that survey set. The instruments that make up each set must link together and be registered to the specific serial number(s) of the other linked instrument(s) in the set. The selected vendor will need to complete this setup/configuration of the equipment for each set and ensure the items are configured to work together and are fully functioning as two separate sets. If this is accomplished prior to delivery, the vendor will need to package and/or clearly mark which items/components belong in to each set. If the vendor plans to configure the devices after delivery the vendor will need to provide details of how they plan to accomplish the configuration after delivery. The two engineering units’ locations are:
1) 338 West 15th Street, Wahoo, NE 68066
2) 2018 Armory Drive, Columbus, NE 68601
If there is a charge for the configuration, it must be quoted as a separate line item and added to the total requirement price.
WARRANTY AND MAINTENACE: Customer requires 1 year of warranty and maintenance coverage for all instruments/components being purchased. Warranty and maintenance coverage is assumed to come with the instruments as a standard industry practice, if it is not priced as a separate line item.
