About this file
This document is an Enclosure detailing work anticipated under the Southwest Regional Maintenance Center (SWRMC) Homeport Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity-Multiple Award Contracts (IDIQ-MACs). The requirement involves non-nuclear Surface Combatant ship repair services for homeport ships visiting San Diego, potentially covering 12 ship classes within a 75-mile radius. NAVSEA plans to award contracts in four categories (MAC A, B, C1, C2) based on contractor capabilities, with specific evaluation criteria including possessing a Master Ship Repair Agreement (MSRA), demonstrated repair experience, and ability to handle different maintenance availabilities.
Prime contractors will be required to provide facilities, management, engineering support, material procurement, subcontractor management, and ship repair capabilities in the San Diego homeport. The contract categories range from handling comprehensive CNO availabilities including dry-docking to more specialized maintenance on critical and non-critical systems. MAC C1 and C2 are anticipated to be Small Business Set-Aside (SBSA) categories. Contractors must demonstrate experience in managing production, quality assurance, material control, and technical problem-solving across various ship maintenance requirements.
