About this file
This document outlines the scope of work for the USS MOBILE (LCS 26) FY25 Docking Selected Restricted Availability (DSRA). The availability will include over 70,000 man-days of maintenance work at a shipyard and approximately 15,000 man-days of modernization work. Key maintenance tasks involve hull preservation and repairs, propulsion plant overhauls including shaft assembly replacement and waterjet replacement, and auxiliary system repairs. Modernization efforts focus on total ship communication equipment upgrades, fuel oil system modifications, crane structural upgrades, and damage control and ventilation system updates. The solicitation seeks sources to provide integrated production scheduling and perform structural, industrial, and preservation work. Temporary services such as air conditioning and hazardous waste removal are also required. The Navy's Naval Sea Systems Command will award a contract for the availability work to be completed at a West Coast shipyard by February 2025.
