Enclosure 1 - Ship Store Fresh Food Market Research Items spreadsheet.xlsx

This file is a market research spreadsheet listing fresh prepared food items that the Navy Exchange Service Command (NEXCOM) Ships Store Program intends to procure under a potential indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract. The spreadsheet contains 118 line items organized by product category, including sandwiches (hoagies, artisan craft sandwiches, paninis, wraps), salads, noodle and quinoa bowls, entrees, breakfast items, snacks, desserts, and pizza options. Each item includes fields for UPC code, manufacturer, description, expanded description, price, maximum quantity per year, and total cost; however, the price and quantity fields are currently blank, indicating this is a preliminary market research document. Product categories span value lines, essentials lines, signature items, and gluten-free options, suggesting the government seeks a diverse vendor capable of providing multiple product tiers to accommodate varying ship store customer preferences and budgets.

This spreadsheet is directly referenced in the accompanying Request for Information (RFI) for solicitation number 20260002886, issued by NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk Regional Directorate under the Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command. The RFI seeks contractor capability information for providing fresh sandwiches, salads, wraps, desserts, and microwavable food items for resale through Navy ship stores. As part of the pre-solicitation phase, potential contractors are expected to review this market research document to understand the scope and variety of products the government anticipates requiring under the planned IDIQ contract vehicle. All items will be tracked and managed through the Resale Operations (ROM 3) system using individual UPC codes.
