About this file
This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for an Advanced Fire Control System (FCS) development contract with the Department of the Navy Strategic Systems Programs. The SOW includes three Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINs) detailing specific development and production requirements: CLIN 2021 focuses on accelerated advanced FCS development through continuous development activities, prototyping, demonstrations, and backlog grooming; CLIN 2022 involves delivering equipment to support the SSBN Replacement Fire Control System, including building, inspecting, and testing various system components; and CLIN 2023 covers program protection activities involving software procurement, testing, system security engineering, and developing capabilities deployment roadmaps for controlled network environments.
The pre-solicitation opportunity (Solicitation Number N0003024C1005P0TBD5) is associated with advanced fire control system development, specifically targeting replacement systems for submarine-based platforms. The scope indicates a complex technical engagement requiring advanced engineering capabilities in fire control system design, production, and program protection, with a strong emphasis on systematic development approaches, technical program management practices, and comprehensive system security considerations.
