About this file
This document outlines the terms and conditions for a Request for Bid (RFB) issued by the State of Alabama for the procurement of electrical lifts. The award will be made on an "all or none" basis to the lowest responsible bidder meeting all specifications. Bidders must submit their bids through the Alabama Buys Supplier Portal, and descriptive literature for any alternate items must be provided for consideration. The resulting contract will be for new, unused equipment acceptable to the original equipment manufacturer. Payment terms are 30 days in arrears after receipt of invoice, and all labor and materials must meet local codes and industry standards.
Freight charges must be included in the bid prices, as the contract is F.O.B. destination. Any additional information requested from a supplier must be provided within 5 days. The State of Alabama reserves the right to conduct physical inspections and operational evaluations of the offered equipment without cost or obligation.
