About this file
This document appears to be an Equipment and Emergency Resources Agreement (EERA) template for hot food delivery services during wildland fire response, issued by the US Forest Service. The agreement specifies detailed equipment and transportation requirements for food delivery vehicles, including mandatory safety features such as ROPS/FOPS compliance, lighting, spark arresters, seat belts, first aid kits, fire extinguishers, and backup alarms.
The hot food delivery service specifications include precise operational requirements: vehicles must have self-contained, thermostatically controlled hot food holding capability maintaining 140°F for a minimum of six hours, with a 200-meal minimum capacity. Staffing requirements mandate at least two employees with ServSafe or state food service certification, and compliance with work-rest ratio guidelines. The government will provide coolers for cold meals, and the contractor is responsible for loading, unloading, and meeting all transportation and food safety standards. This document is part of a Request for Information (RFI) to identify potential qualified vendors for wildland fire response food services.
