About this file

This Engineering Data Requirements document outlines specifications for manufacturing a Transfer Unit (part number D7621000001-01, NSN 7025-01-616-5061WF) for the Defense Logistics Agency Aviation. The document is prepared by Hill Air Force Base and includes specific requirements for Unique Identification (UID) labeling following MIL-STD-130 standards, requiring both human-readable information (CAGE, part number, and serial number at minimum 1/8th inch) and machine-readable 2D matrix (minimum 1/4 inch square).

The document mandates a Counterfeit Prevention Plan (CPP) for contractors supplying electronic parts or systems, which must follow DI-MISC-81832 requirements and SAE 5553 Aerospace Standard for counterfeit electronics prevention. The acquisition is restricted to GE Aviation (CAGE 35351) as a qualified source, and any deviations from specifications or material substitutions require prior approval from the cognizant engineering activity.
