Each blanket measures 4 feet wide by 100 feet long. The contract requires delivery on an as-needed basis statewide to five primary MDOT maintenance locations, with an estimated total of 104,150 square yards: Caribou Garage (5,400 sq yds), Bangor Maintenance Lot (27,000 sq yds), Washington Maintenance Lot (40,000 sq yds), Scarborough Maintenance Lot (6,750 sq yds), and Dixfield Maintenance Lot (25,000 sq yds). All deliveries require 24-hour advance notification to designated facility contacts.

Pricing shall be delivered on an FOB destination basis and remain fixed for the duration of the contract. The specification accommodates requests from Maine municipalities in addition to MDOT facilities. Contract administration is managed by Lita DeSanctis at the Maine Department of Transportation, (207) 624-7337, lita.c.desanctis@maine.gov, who serves as the sole contact for this bid.
