The Duchesne Drive Reconstruction project replaces pavement between West Clay Street and Droste Road. The existing concrete pavement has deteriorated and requires a full depth pavement replacement with 9-inches of asphalt pavement constructed on 6-inches of aggregate base. The project provides sidewalk reconstruction to complete a continuous sidewalk on the west side and an 8-foot-wide shared use path on the east side. The shared use path will connect to other existing shared use paths along
West Clay Street and Droste Road. Additional improvements include rapid rectangular flashing beacons, curb ramp reconstruction, storm sewer improvements, striping, signage, new driveway entrances, approaches, curb and gutter and street lighting.

The amount of the check shall be forfeited to the City if the bidder neglects or refuses to enter into a contract or to furnish bond after their proposal has been accepted.
The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, offers, or proposals submitted, or to advertise for new bids with the
MoDOT’s concurrence. The City reserves the right to defer the acceptance of any proposal and the execution of a contract for a period not exceeding one hundred twenty (120) days after the date of opening of the bids.
