Solicitation # DTRT5716Q80039

1. What are the requirements and interface for integrating the eye tracking system into a Government‐procured rail simulator?

The SOW also states “Receive a TTL signal from an external source and either include a column in the output showing the signal state, or use the signal as a marker in the data file. This signal will be used to align the eye tracker’s data with other data sources from the simulator.” This describes how the eye tracking system receives a signal from the simulator, a TTL level digital signal.

2. What are the requirements for the contractor support for a period of 1 year?

Clarification. Configuration, analysis, and maintenance support of system by phone and email during business hours.

3. What are the number of expected operators?

We believe that operators in the vendors question refers to the person calibrating the unit and collecting data. The system should be able to be set up and operated by one person. We expect to train three people on the operation of the eye tracking system. We will be collecting eye tracking data on one user in the simulator at a time.

1. Format of the quote

a. Can we itemize the quote: i) NRE, ii) customer support; iii) unit price in different quantities?

Yes, but note that our requirement is for quantity=1

b. Can we provide a description of the technical approach and how eye tracking system will meet the requirements?

Yes
