Questions and Answers
RFQ No. DTFH7016Q00063 Project Title: Wyeth Campground Utility Locate and Potholing
Date: August 15, 2016
1. Question: What if the guys that show us where to pothole are not right?
Answer: The contractor is responsible for performing the utility locate. The Government will “field fit” the potholing location by directing the contractor to pothole on a paint spot located by the contractor in accordance with the statement of work. The Government will not direct the contractor to pothole in an area that does not have a paint mark as located by the contractor.
No adjustment to the contract would be made due to misidentifying the location of the waterline.
2. Question: What are the water lines made out of?
Answer: Iron.
3. Question: Will WFLHD unlock the gate to the access road to get to first location at 45-41-24.5N?
Answer: Yes, the Government will unlock the gate, but the contractor must coordinate with the Government prior to arriving on site to ensure that the Government has sufficient time to unlock the gate.
