Alder Island Parking Lot
# General Technical Question Answer Date 1 x Just wondering on the Alder Island Rec
Parking lot what the different type are I dont see anything stating the difference between type H and type K if it a thermo can we use a hot tape or torch down style?
Type H is thermoplastic markings with Type 1 glass beads to be installed on US101 through the reconfigured striped intersection, and Oregon DOT would expect it to “match” the existing material used on US101 in the Alder Island area. Type K is non‐reflectorized markings and per the FP‐ 14 634.09 is waterborne or solventborne traffic paint without glass beads to be installed in the parking lot.
