The Contractor shall be responsible for keeping the grounds in a neat and orderly condition at all times. The mower blades shall be sharp enough to cut the grass evenly and cleanly without bruising the blades of grass. The grass shall not be cut closer than two inches. The height of the grass may be increased during the hot time of the year, only after coordination and approval by the either the CO or the Contracting

In addition, grass shall be trimmed neatly to the height of the cut grass around all sprinklers and valves, under the perimeter fences, and along the sides of all the buildings. At no time shall the height of the grass interfere with the ordinary operation of the irrigation system. Any visible clippings/trimmings shall be removed from all lawn areas, all sidewalks, streets, and driveways the same day mowing is performed. The removal of clippings/trimmings shall be considered to be fifteen percent (15%) of the mowing operation. The mowing of all lawn areas at the facility and removal of clippings/trimmings shall be completed in one
(1) calendar day, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

2. Edging. In addition to the clipping/trimming requirements set forth in C.3.1., edging, along the facilities sidewalks with an edger, will be performed after every mowing March through October. Debris from edging shall be cleaned up and removed upon completion of the edging operation. The removal of debris shall constitute fifteen percent (15%) of the edging operation.

The Contractor shall dispose of any debris collected during this operation in accordance with paragraph 12, Debris/Trash
