About this file
This is a posting link letter from the California Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery (CalRecycle), an agency under the California Environmental Protection Agency, regarding solicitation DRR25033 for landfill, disposal site, and waste tire site remediation services in Northern California. CalRecycle is seeking a contractor to perform remediations at solid waste disposal sites, illegal disposal sites, waste tire sites, and emergency disaster debris cleanup sites on an as-needed basis throughout Northern California, defined as all counties north of and including Monterey, Kings, and Tulare counties, excluding Inyo and Mono counties. The contractor will also serve as backup support for environmental services contractors in other geographic regions of California when resources are unavailable. The solicitation is being conducted through CalRecycle's newly implemented electronic bid submission platform, accessible via a vendor portal at https://sb.cityinnovate.com/teams/calrecycle?challenge_id=16244. Prospective bidders must register as vendors, review the complete solicitation documents, prepare required submissions, and upload all materials through the portal by the final submission deadline.
The letter provides instructions for submitting bids through the electronic portal system, which requires vendors to register with basic business information, review solicitation requirements, complete all required documents, and submit through a streamlined process that eliminates traditional folder structures. All submission requirements must be completed before the portal will accept a bid, with missing documents indicated by red boxes during the submission review process. For questions or technical issues regarding the solicitation, bidders should contact Melissa Atencio, Contract Analyst with CalRecycle's Administrative Services Branch, at (916) 341-6544 or contracts@calrecycle.ca.gov. The letter recommends using alternative web browsers such as Chrome or Edge if bidders experience access issues with the submission portal.
