Drawing Notes

1) Refer to highlighted areas to see description of work.

2) Job numbers listed are referenced in other sheets throughout the drawing package.

3) Do not use this document as assurance that what is installed throughout the Boiler Plant match's what it shown on the drawings.

Contractor must field verify conditions.

503-25-104 Revision 0: 8/08/2024 KJC

JOB 1: There is an existing, brass threaded safety valve here also that will need replaced.

Connections will need modified to retrofit the new device, and vent stack will need modified due to the size difference of the SV.

JOB 2:Replace safety valve. Field verify measurements as the clearance from the piping to the roof insulation is minimal.

Evaluate if it would be more beneficial to install the new Safety Valve on the main line, rather than on the bypass line. Review method and location of installation with the VA before performing work. If alternate location of installation is deemed the best option, proper blanking/isolation of the original location is required.

Any insulation that is removed to perform work will need replaced.

JOB 3: remove existing safety valves (qty=2), modify connection points (flanged instead of threaded) ,cut back vent stack, install new SV, modify drain lines

JOB 4: remove existing safety valves (qty=2), modify connection points (flanged instead of threaded) ,cut back vent stack, install new SV's, modify drain lines.

JOB 5: remove existing safety valves (qty=2), modify connection points (flanged instead of threaded) ,cut back vent stack, install new SV's, modify drain lines
