About this file
This sources sought notice requests capability statements for a contract to replace primary and secondary electrical distribution systems at Cannon Air Force Base, New Mexico. The project includes replacing an overhead distribution system crossing a railway and highway with an underground system to be installed via boring and trenching. The estimated value is between $500,000 and $1,000,000, with a 210-day period of performance. Responses are due by May 27, 2020 and should provide relevant past performance on similar projects valued over $500,000, bonding capacity, company information, size status or SBA certification, the prime and subcontractor roles and functions, usual NAICS codes, and interest in submitting a proposal. The 27th Special Operations Contracting Squadron at Cannon Air Force Base will use the responses to determine an acquisition strategy for the replacement project.
