About this file

This is a Draft Statement of Work (SOW) for Linen/Mat/Mop Rental and Cleaning Services for the Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA). The SOW details comprehensive requirements for providing rental, delivery, cleaning, and maintenance of professional apparel and floor maintenance equipment for commissary locations. Specific products include white butcher coats, shirts, and pants in sizes S-5X; red and colored bib aprons and smocks; and black or grey heavy-duty mats in multiple sizes (3'x5', 3'x10', 4'x6') with non-slip backing, along with dust and wet mops in various sizes.

The contract specifications mandate weekly delivery and pickup, quarterly reporting of linen usage, and strict quality standards including wrinkle-resistant fabrics, stain-free materials, and prompt replacement of items with normal wear and tear. Contractors must comply with installation access procedures, provide points of contact, ensure employee identification, and handle hazardous waste responsibly. The SOW is part of a pre-solicitation Request for Information (RFI) seeking market research for potential future commissary services across CONUS locations, with no guaranteed commitment to a final contract award.
