About this file

This is a Statement of Work (SOW) for the B-52H Cryptographic Modernization Program Group A Kit Production. The document outlines requirements for manufacturing and assembling cryptographic modernization production kits for the B-52H aircraft platform, supporting the United States Air Force at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. The SOW establishes technical specifications, quality standards, and delivery requirements for Group A kits, which represent an initial production phase of the broader CM/MUOS (Cryptographic Modernization/Mobile User Objective System) program. The work encompasses end-to-end kit production including component sourcing, assembly operations, testing, quality assurance, and final delivery to the government.

The document specifies production timelines, performance metrics, and compliance requirements for the contractor to manufacture kits that meet established cryptographic modernization standards. It defines government expectations for documentation, traceability, and verification of all produced kits, along with logistics and delivery protocols. The SOW serves as the technical baseline for the follow-on production contract award, with requirements designed to ensure manufactured kits integrate seamlessly with existing B-52H systems and maintain cryptographic security protocols throughout the production lifecycle. This SOW is a reference document supporting the broader RFI market research effort and will likely inform final solicitation documents for full-rate production contracting.
