Faculty Success/Faculty Accomplishments (FAIRS) is a data repository used by all faculty at NPS. Faculty data is systematically moved into FAIRS (teaching, thesis advising, research) while faculty enter other data such as their publications and presentations. FAIRS data is used to create public-facing CV’s (curriculum vitae) available through NPS.edu. Faculty can also create their own CV’s with FAIRS. Leadership has used FAIRS data to find subject matter experts as well as publication and copyright information. Many department Chairs have their faculty generate a Faculty Activity Report from FAIRS used in conjunction with DPMAP for performance evaluations. Short course information is collected and reported from FAIRS.
Curriculum Strategy Catalog (SmartCatalog) is utilized to manage the NPS Academic Catalog and utilizes the Curriculum Management/Curriculum Strategy Module. This includes licensing and hosting of the module which allows NPS to track submission, routing, and processing of new, modification, and deactivation requests for courses and curricula. These products are used directly by Academic Affairs.
Web Profiles replaces a developmental system to maintain CV’s and interfaces seamlessly with FAIRS.
Planning & Self Study (P&SS) is used to help with assessments at all levels across NPS – institutional, program, curriculum, course, degree. Assessments are key to accreditation, including WASC Senior College & University Commission (WSCUC), Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) and Accreditation Board for Engineering & Technology (ABET). P&SS also helps with NPS accreditation – NPS needs to improve assessments for WASC accreditation.
The number of students and faculty who will have accounts are 1810 Student Full Time Equivalent (FTE) and 464 Faculty FTE.
3.0 Additional Requirements:

· Access to Insights Hub
