About this file
This document is a draft site visit posting for a pre-solicitation related to the GAOA Pine Valley Dam Spillway Capacity and Liquefaction Mitigation project. The U.S. Forest Service plans to issue a full solicitation via an RFP at a later date when the project site will be unavailable due to seasonal closures or weather. The scope of work includes mitigating potential embankment instability due to liquefaction, adding an outlet to release water from the reservoir, and modifying the dam to route the regulatory required flood event. An optional site visit is scheduled for November 22, 2024 at 10:30 AM MST at the Pine Valley Reservoir. The estimated magnitude of the construction project is between $1-5 million, and it will be solicited as a 100% HubZone set-aside. Interested vendors are encouraged to attend the site visit prior to the solicitation being issued, but the government will not pay for any costs incurred in response to this notice, and vendor submissions will not be accepted as offers.
