About this file
This is a Draft Request for Information (RFI) for a Simulator Assembly, Overtemp, Cool Test Set (NSN: 4920-01-262-1412) intended for the United States Air Force (USAF). The RFI seeks to identify potential sources with expertise in producing a test set that simulates overtemp conditions in air and liquid cooling loops for fault isolation on B1-B aircraft. The market research is open to both large and small businesses, with no set-aside decision made yet, and responses are due by close of business on 26 August 2025.
The RFI requires detailed capability survey responses covering business information, general capabilities, commerciality, manufacturing processes, and engineering services. Respondents must provide information on their facility capabilities, past project experience, quality assurance processes, manufacturing capacities, technical data generation, and ability to handle potential classified materials. Responses should be submitted electronically to three Air Force contacts: Iris Armstrong, Christopher Greene, and Allison Hayne, with attachments not exceeding 10 MB per email. The government emphasizes that participation in this survey does not guarantee future solicitation or contract awards, and will not reimburse participants for survey-related expenses.
