About this file
This is a Performance Work Statement (PWS) dated November 13, 2024, for sports officiating and scorekeeping services at Tyndall Air Force Base. The contractor must provide certified sports officials and scorekeepers for intramural sports activities including basketball, flag football, soccer, softball, volleyball, and other sports offered by the Tyndall AFB Fitness Center.
The services include officiating games scheduled Monday through Friday starting at 5:30pm, with two to three games per night. Officials must arrive 15 minutes before scheduled game times, enforce all rules and bylaws, and document any incidents like ejections, injuries, or protests. The contractor must ensure all officials are certified by recognized sports organizations, provide rule books, evaluate officials' performance annually, and maintain current contact information. The Fitness Center will provide equipment and supplies, but officials must supply their own uniforms and personal gear. The contract period cannot exceed one year per call, and contractors can only invoice for games actually worked, with specific provisions for cancellations and forfeitures.
