About this file
This document is a Purchase Description for Real Time Innovations (RTI) Software Licenses for the Ship Self Defense Program (SSDS). The procurement involves acquiring Data Distribution Service (DDS) Runtime Software Licenses for the SSDS Technology Insertion Sixteen (TI-16) operating system, which is deployed across aircraft carriers, amphibious ships, and land-based testing and development sites. The specific license requirements are 145 software licenses for Core Group 1-4 (P/N: 750-10-50-00) and 1,457 software licenses for Core Group 9-16 (P/N: 750-10-54-00), with RTI identified as the sole source provider for these licenses.
The document specifies a Required Delivery Date (RDD) of seven business days after award, with electronic mail delivery or website download accepted as a valid delivery method. Key technical details include that each core count group requires runtime licenses to comply with RTI's commercial licensing agreements when DDS is active and running software executables. The purchase description is marked as a draft and contains several "To Be Determined" (TBD) sections for inspection, acceptance, and technical point of contact, indicating the document is in a preliminary stage of development.
