About this file

This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for preventative and corrective maintenance support for a Sterrad NX System sterilization equipment located at the St. Cloud VA Health Care System (STCVAHCS). The SOW outlines the required planned maintenance activities, such as flushing the vacuum pump, replacing filters and components, and system function testing. It also details the corrective maintenance support that includes repair or replacement of parts, calibration, software/system upgrades, and telephone troubleshooting assistance. The contractor must provide a Field Service Engineer (FSE) to perform the maintenance services and document all work on an Engineering Service Report. The services must be scheduled with the VA Technical Representative and may be required outside of normal business hours. The SOW specifies the federal holidays observed and the requirement to complete annual preventative maintenance within 30 business days of the Government's request.

The related federal contract opportunity is a Notice of Intent to award a sole source firm fixed-price contract to Advanced Sterilization Products Services, Inc. (ASP) for the Sterrad NX System maintenance services at the STCVAHCS. ASP is the proprietary developer and sole service provider for the Sterrad NX system, and the Government has determined that no other sources can provide the required maintenance services.
