Planned Maintenance Interval Contract for E-6B Performance Work Statement (PWS)

1. Scope:

1.1 Introduction. The Fleet Readiness Center Southeast (FRCSE) requires Contractor services for Planned Maintenance Interval contract services on the United States Navy E-6B aircraft program. The E-6B is a derivative of the commercial Boeing 707 aircraft: a long range, narrow-body, four-engine jet airliner that carries a Very Low Frequency (VLF) communication system with dual trailing wire antennas and other mission essential communications equipment. The E-6B operates across a wide frequency spectrum to transmit and receive secure and non-secure voice and data information. The aircraft provides survivable, endurable, reliable airborne command, control, and communications in support of the President, Secretary of Defense, and United States Strategic Command

(USSTRATCOM).

1.2 Objective. The Contractor shall maintain the facility and personnel capacity to perform concurrent maintenance on up to two aircraft, accommodating staggered induction schedules to minimize platform out-of-service time. The contractor shall perform the Planned Maintenance Interval (PMI) per the Planned Maintenance Interval Depot Level Maintenance Specification, Navy Model E-6B Aircraft, Depot (D-Level) and Organizational (O-Level) maintenance, and strip, prime and painting. The Contractor is responsible for facilities, labor, services, equipment, tools, and materials not explicitly stated as Government Furnished Property (GFP) to perform the requirements of this Contract.

The Contractor shall complete all evaluations and examinations and notify the Government Examiner and Evaluator (E&E) for Aircraft Delivery Deficiency Report (ADDR) support.
