About this file
This document is a notice from the State of North Carolina's Division of Purchase & Contract regarding a NASPO ValuePoint Invitation for Bid (IFB) for a WIC Infant Formula Rebate program. The IFB was released by the State of Kansas on June 13, 2024, and all vendor proposals must be submitted by 2:00 pm, Central Time, on August 2, 2024. The purpose of this IFB is to establish one or more Master Agreements with manufacturers of Infant Formula to provide to the current WIC Alliance members, potentially achieving more favorable pricing than an individual state or local government entity. The resulting Master Agreement(s) may be used by state governments, institutions of higher education, political subdivisions, the District of Columbia, territories of the United States, and other eligible entities, subject to approval of the individual chief procurement official and compliance with local statutory and regulatory provisions.
The IFB is available on the Kansas Procurement System website, and any additional information regarding the IFB can be obtained by contacting the NASPO Cooperative Portfolio Manager, Nick Hughes. The State of North Carolina is providing this information as a courtesy notification to North Carolina vendors, but the State of North Carolina may or may not elect to participate in the final contract.
