About this file
This document is an Addendum from the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District Two regarding an Invitation to Bid (ITB) for Employment Services - Bridge Maintenance. The addendum provides answers to questions received from potential bidders and includes additional attachments such as job descriptions. The ITB is seeking qualified bidders to establish a contract to provide maintenance employment services as per the Scope of Services. The sealed bids will be received until 2:00 p.m. local time on September 9, 2024, and will be opened at 2:30 p.m. the same day. Only one vendor will be awarded the contract, and there is no current contract or incumbent vendor.
The addendum indicates that the intent is to use the full amount of the contract each year, but it is not guaranteed. There are no prevailing or living wage requirements, and the contract will be awarded to the lowest bidder, with no additional points awarded for Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) partners. The Department will provide specific job descriptions for the positions being requested.
