The addendum provides answers to questions received and updates the timeline for the project. The ITB solicits bids from qualified contractors to provide painting services for the rest area buildings and facilities in St. Johns County. The addendum also addresses various aspects of the scope of work, including allowed weather days, definitions of "minor" repairs, areas to be painted, and requirements for caulking, wood replacement, and concrete repairs. Additionally, the addendum provides guidance on allowable work hours and product specifications for the project.
The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. The base bid includes up to 200 board feet of wood replacement, with any additional replacement compensated at $10.00 per board foot. No flooring or signage will be painted, but sign frames and stands will be included. The project is subject to various nondiscrimination statutes and authorities, and the contractor must comply with the Inspector General requirements.
