About this file
This document is Addendum No. 1 to the Request for Proposal (RFP) for the DLIS Learning Management System (LMS) for Continuing Education, Solicitation No.: DOS-RFP-22/23-035, issued by the Florida Department of State. The addendum provides written responses to questions from prospective respondents regarding the requirements and scope of the project. Key details include:
The RFP is seeking a vendor to develop and host an LMS platform to provide asynchronous training videos, webinars, and tutorials for up to 12,000 unique users per year. The vendor will be responsible for providing the talent and content creation for the training materials. The LMS must meet specific functionality requirements outlined in the scope of work, including statistical and usage reporting capabilities. Responses to the RFP are due via the specified submission method and no pre-bid conference is scheduled.
Pricing for the project should include the cost of content creation, though the Department does not stipulate a required number of training materials. The vendor will be responsible for hosting the LMS platform, and the Department will have a team to develop additional course modules using the vendor-provided content. Access to the LMS will be asynchronous, and the Department's staff will have limited abilities to create and edit learning modules.
