Description of Requirement
Thermoplastic Press
SPECIFICATIONS:
The Concrete Materials Branch (CMB) requires a new hydraulic press for use in consolidation of thermoplastic flat panels and thermoforming of unique molds. Specifications for the equipment are as follows:
• 100 metric ton press capacity
• 30-in x 30-in work area
• 0.5” shut height
• 16” stroke length
• Integrated controls for temperature and pressure monitoring of heated platens and custom molds.
Shipping costs and any travel expenses expected must be included in the quote.
Quotes must include the following additional add-ons, parts, and accessories.
• Electrically heated platens capable of 650F with mounting (T-slot or threaded inserts) in platens
• Safety equipment should include guard railings/ light curtains required for safe operation of the system.

DELIVERY DATE:
The system must be provided to the ERDC on or before 1 February 2025.
