About this file
This document is a detailed specifications sheet for Illumina sequencing and indexing products for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service's Northeast Fishery Center. The specification lists six specific Illumina products: NextSeq 1000/2000 P1 and P2 XLEAP-SBS Reagent Kits (600 and 100 cycles respectively), Illumina DNA/RNA UD Indexes Sets A, B, C, and D (each with 96 indexes for 96 samples), and a NextSeq PhiX Control Kit. These products are designed for metabarcoding environmental samples, GTSeq on finclip samples for population genetics, and provide unique dual indexing capabilities for sample identification.
Delivery specifications require FOB Destination to the Northeast Fishery Center in Lamar, PA, with the technical point of contact being Samantha Silverbrand. The contractor is responsible for installation, with all labor and parts at their expense, and must complete installation according to industry standards. Delivery instructions require contacting the point of contact at least three days prior to delivery, with unloading being the sole responsibility of the delivery carrier. This procurement is part of a sole-source notice of intent to award to Illumina Inc. for essential sequencing reagents to support environmental DNA and genetic research projects.
