About this file

This document is Addendum 2 to an Invitation to Bid (ITB) issued by the Florida Department of Health for the procurement of PATH Sentiero Handheld Hearing Screening Devices and accompanying accessories. The purpose of this ITB is for the State of Florida to obtain competitive pricing from an authorized distributor or seller of the specified screening devices. The addendum responds to questions received from prospective vendors, clarifying that only PATH MEDICAL brand name devices will be accepted, as the selection of these devices is to ensure compatibility with new and previously purchased devices for standardization and training across programs. This is not a sole source solicitation. The contract opportunity covers the jurisdictions of Leon County and Tampa City within the state of Florida.

Regarding pricing terms, the ITB indicates this is a competitive procurement process, rather than a sole source contract. There are no mentions of any set asides, incumbent vendors, funding requirements, or other salient financial details. The addendum focuses on responding to vendor questions about the acceptable brands and does not provide any additional information about the overall pricing or contract structure.
