About this file
This document is an Addendum 1 for an Invitation to Bid (ITB) issued by the Florida Department of Health for Hillsborough County Courier Services. The ITB seeks to obtain competitive prices for internal courier services, specifically for daily dedicated route pick-up and delivery services, utilizing one driver. The addendum modifies the timeline, extending the bid due date to August 9, 2022, and provides responses to questions received from prospective vendors. The contract term is not specified.
The current unit rate is $197.10 per day, with an annual total of $53,528.90. The current vendor is Associated Couriers LLC. The typical daily transport includes one security mail bag and a few boxes, with volumes potentially varying due to formula shortages. Bidders must have the ability to meet all requirements specified in the ITB, including the scope of work, which involves transporting items such as mail, small packages, and breast pumps, in addition to formula, pharmaceuticals, specimens, and blood.
