About this file
This document is a Notice of Intended Decision to Enter into a Single Source Contract issued by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT). FDOT intends to enter into a single source contract with SAS Institute, Inc. to migrate data services from an Oracle-based cloud environment to an Azure cloud environment. The data warehouse and associated data discovery, profiling, quality, and metadata services are currently maintained by SAS, and FDOT requires direct actions from SAS to complete the migration. The contract term and pricing are not specified in the document.
The justification provided for the single source acquisition is that the data is located on secure servers within SAS's data center, and all subsequent migration efforts can only be accomplished through a cooperative effort between FDOT and SAS due to access and portability restrictions. The document does not provide any information about pricing terms, set-asides, incumbent contractors, funding requirements or sources, or any other salient details beyond the single source justification.
