About this file
This document is a set of Questions and Answers related to an Architectural and Engineering Design Professional Services Request for Qualifications (RFQ) issued by the Georgia Department of Natural Resources (DNR). The RFQ seeks to identify qualified architectural, engineering, and landscape design firms to provide miscellaneous professional services for various DNR-managed projects on an as-needed basis. Project types may include cabin renovations, visitor centers, office buildings, bridges, fish hatcheries, comfort stations, residences, maintenance shops, and pre-engineered metal buildings. The RFQ does not specify a maximum number of firms to be selected, and both multi-disciplinary and specialized firms will be considered. The selected firms may be required to use the e-Builder project management software on a case-by-case basis.
The document also provides clarification on the required documentation, such as business licenses and professional licenses, as well as the experience and project types expected in the responses. It indicates that contract fees will be discussed after the selection of firms, and that the selected firms will have the opportunity to negotiate final contract terms.
