About this file
This is a Notice of Intent to Award issued by the State of Michigan Department of Technology, Management & Budget's Printing Services division for a printing services contract. The project, DNR PR 3069-2 CAMPSITE ID (RFQ# 26*0187), involves the production of 3,500 units organized into 14 packs of 250 items. The document outlines the evaluation process and identifies the recommended vendor selection. No specific response deadline, bid due date, site visit requirement, or bidders' conference is referenced in this notice. The award will be finalized following receipt of an actual order and the department's decision to issue the project to the recommended vendor.
RMI was selected as the recommended vendor, offering a price of $514.12 with a 10-business-day turnaround time. The evaluation criteria included pricing, turnaround time (weighted 25 points each), price hold capability, Michigan printing requirement, and relevant experience (each weighted 25 points). Four bidders competed for the contract: RMI, Image Printing ($519.40, 15 business days), Walker ($620.00, 15 business days), and Smart Source ($736.50, 20 business days). The award represents best value determination based on the combination of evaluation factors and pricing rather than lowest price alone. The Department of Technology, Management & Budget reserves the right to perform the work in-house and has established a protest deadline for unsuccessful bidders through the Vendor Self Service system.
