About this file
This document is a Request for Quote (RFQ) issued by the Ohio Division of Natural Areas & Preserves for the procurement of 8 Old Town Discovery 158 canoes in the color green. The canoes will be used throughout the northeast region of Ohio for interpretive/educational programming, public outreach, and river cleanups to raise awareness for natural resources, especially state-designated Wild, Scenic, and Recreational Rivers. The canoes must meet specific requirements, including capacity, weight, dimensions, and construction materials. Bids will be accepted until July 31, 2024, with delivery required by that date. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder based on a total lot price, calculated by multiplying the unit cost by the estimated usage.
The pricing terms outlined in the RFQ stipulate that the bidder must submit the specifications of any equivalent item, and that failure to bid on all items may result in the bidder being deemed non-responsive. The RFQ also provides invoicing instructions, including the requirement to submit invoices directly to Ohio Shared Services and to include specific information such as the purchase order number and no state sales tax.
