About this file
This document is an Addendum No. 1 and Questions and Answers document for Invitation to Bid (ITB) DMA-ITB-332, issued by the Florida Department of Military Affairs for a bathroom remodel project at the Camp Blanding Joint Training Center. The solicitation covers a comprehensive renovation of RTS-M bathrooms in Building 3150, with key details including the removal of ceramic tiles, installation of new LED lighting, updates to plumbing fixtures, and epoxy flooring using Dura-A-Flex or PlexiQuartz materials. The bid opening date has been changed to Thursday, June 19, 2025, at 4:00 PM EST, with the posting of bid tab and intent to award scheduled for Friday, June 20, 2025. Specific fixture specifications are provided, including American Standard toilets, Sloan flushometers, and Delta sink faucets, with contractors required to remove all construction debris and measure floor areas during a pre-bid site visit.
The document indicates that contractors must contact Mitch Poole at 904-682-2200 to schedule a site visit and measure floors, and no full project plans will be provided. The solicitation requires LED fixtures suitable for damp locations, with lumen output equal to or greater than existing fixtures, and shower heads will be updated. Contractors are responsible for trash removal and must confirm sewer line clearance from each fixture to the exterior cleanout. The addendum provides detailed specifications for toilets, urinals, sinks, and faucets, with an emphasis on specific manufacturer models and requirements. The document does not specify a set-aside for disadvantaged businesses or mention an incumbent vendor, focusing instead on the technical details and procedural requirements for the bathroom remodel project.
