About this file
This is a Contractor Questionnaire issued by the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA)-Aberdeen as part of a sources sought announcement (DLA-Aberdeen-26-071) for NSN 5895-01-225-3333 Installation Kit, Electronic Equipment MK-2371/VRC to support SINCGARS (Single Channel Ground and Airborne Radio System) operations. The questionnaire is designed to identify qualified suppliers capable of manufacturing and supplying SINCGARS installation kits, which are vehicle-mounted radio configuration systems containing major components such as mounting bases, loudspeaker-control units, antennas, handsets, and cable assemblies. Respondents must provide company background, core competencies, point of contact information, CAGE code, and DUNS number.
The questionnaire requires detailed information on past performance in manufacturing similar items, qualifications of engineering staff experienced in comparable design and production, and expertise in identifying test equipment for components of similar complexity to SINCGARS radio systems. Critical focus areas include obsolescence management capabilities, experience with component availability tracking tools, strategies for identifying alternative materials when components become unavailable, and ability to meet U.S. Government delivery schedules. Contractors must demonstrate capability to successfully complete First Article Test (FAT) and commence delivery within 10 months of contract award, provide production lead times, identify any supply chain vendors that could impede delivery schedules, and describe surge production capabilities. This questionnaire serves as an initial screening mechanism to assess supplier qualifications before formal solicitation.
